Peter Legwood, a company specializing in the sale of orthopedic footwear, faced challenges with inefficient e-commerce and warehouse management processes. Manual data transfer between systems, lengthy order processing, and errors led to increased costs. Seeking to optimize these operations and automate key processes, Peter Legwood partnered with the digital agency MARK31.

  1. E-commerce Design Enhancement:

    • To enhance user experience and improve conversion rates, we redesigned and implemented a modern graphic design for the e-commerce platform.

  2. PrestaShop Platform Implementation:

    • The e-commerce store was migrated to the open-source PrestaShop platform, offering extensive customization and integration capabilities.

  3. Custom PrestaShop-Pohoda Integration Bridge:

    • A crucial element of the solution was the development of a custom integration bridge, connecting PrestaShop with the Pohoda accounting system. This bridge enabled automated data transfer between the two systems.

  4. E-commerce Content Automation:

    • Through the integration bridge, all e-commerce content (product names, descriptions, images, stock levels) is automatically transferred from Pohoda to PrestaShop, eliminating manual data entry.

  5. Order Synchronization:

    • E-commerce orders are automatically synchronized with the accounting system, accelerating processing and minimizing the risk of errors.

  6. Warehouse Barcode Scanner Integration:

    • We integrated the e-commerce and warehouse systems with barcode scanners, streamlining the order fulfillment process and reducing errors.

  7. Automated Invoice and Shipping Order Processing:

    • Upon completion of warehouse order fulfillment via barcode scanner, invoices are automatically generated and sent to customers, and shipping orders are placed with carriers.
